Oil Painting Instruction

Award winning Charleston Artists Hilarie Lambert and Karen Hagan provide on site art instruction at your hotel or at our studio. Upon availability and with a 24 hour reservation either Martha or Karen are available to provide individual or group art instruction in the method of impressionistic oil painting.

Both Hilarie and Karen exhibit their paintings in Charleston and through out the country. Their works hang in many private collections across the US and abroad. Both have an impressionistic feeling to their work, but also have developed a strong individual style.

We will work with students in a personalized manner, guided by the level and needs of the student(s). Beginners, imtermediate and advanced students are encouraged.

Provided are:

Supplies and Materials to create one 8 x 10 oil painting on site at your location or at our studio.

Class handouts for future study.

An instructor demonstration including step by step explanation of the choices they are making while painting.

Reference material or still life set up, easels and aprons.
